The Easiest Peach Cobbler Recipe:

This isn't the traditional cobbler recipe with thick biscuits on top of peaches. This has the batter that bakes up over the top of the peaches. It's just a great, quick and easy recipe that my family loves and I can make in about 15 minutes. Woohoo!!
4 cups sliced Grossen Peaches
1 cup sugar
½ teas. almond extract

½ cup butter
2 teas. baking pwd
¾ cup flour
¾ cup milk
½ cup sugar

Mix 1 cup sugar, extract and peaches- set aside. Melt butter in 2 qt baking dish. In a med bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well, batter will be runny. Pour over butter and top evenly with peaches. ( I use a slotted spoon to drain off some of the juice). Bake 50-55 min at 350 degrees.

Note: My family of four can eat this in one sitting...I'd double it (and bake in a 9x13 pan) if you need to feed a larger crowd.
